The Public Library Society acts as trust board to accept endowments, bequests, donations, subscriptions, grants etc. either in cash or kind from other institutions, corporate bodies, Central and State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings or any individual or organization. The library depends on its endowment to cover a sizeable portion of the library’s operating budget. The growth of the library would not have been possible without the generous donations by loyal patrons, whose financial support and vision made the Visakhapatnam Public Library what it is today.

In view of increasing number of readers, job seekers and senior citizens in Visakhapatnam city, there is every need to further develop the library to meet the requirements. Therefore it is a great honour to the management of the library to make an appeal for donations.
